Protest Held in Central Belgrade, Serbian President Issues Statement
Students who have been blocking university faculties for weeks organized a protest gathering with farmers at Slavija Square in Belgrade, during which tribute was paid to the victims of the Railway Station in Novi Sad.
The students unfurled a large flag and then a banner reading, "We Are All Under the roof canopy."
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that a major opposition rally had taken place in Belgrade and emphasized the importance of "continuing to work together at this moment, not ignoring our differences, but striving to understand that peace and stability in the country are of utmost importance."
