Students who have been blocking university faculties for weeks organized a protest gathering with farmers at Slavija Square in Belgrade, during which tribute was paid to the victims of the Railway Station in Novi Sad.
After a fifteen-minute silence, participants responded to the students' initiative by turning on the lights on their mobile phones.
Following this, citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the government by creating noise with whistles and vuvuzelas.
The students unfurled a large flag and then a banner reading, "We Are All Under the roof canopy."
