The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, had a phone conversation with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, emphasizing that their discussion was substantial and constructive on all significant issues of bilateral cooperation.
"Serbia recently reopened its embassy in Kyiv, hoping that its work will further contribute to better relations. We discussed the European path of our countries, as well as the possibility of more frequent bilateral visits in the future," stated Aleksandar Vucic on his Instagram account.
The President of Serbia, while appearing on Radio Television of Serbia, declared that by March 31, Serbian citizens will witness the most intense fight against corruption in the past 24 years.
"By March 31, the citizens of Serbia will see the most intense fight against corruption, targeting individuals directly or indirectly involved in government, as well as those connected to them. I can confidently say this will be unprecedented in the past 24 years, even considering the wartime years when such discussions were almost impossible," said Vucic.
He announced that the new anti-corruption system will allow citizens to file complaints, all of which will need to be investigated.
"You will see, many people from the top of local and regional governments will be involved. Actions will speak louder in the next 100 days," he added.
Speaking about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that every dialogue is better than displays of power and force, emphasizing that issues should be resolved through discussion and negotiation.
