"Relations are good, but I believe they can and must be better. We are connected by many things – close family ties, history, culture, and spirituality," Vucevic said, responding to journalists' questions in Mojkovac after laying wreaths at the monument dedicated to the heroes of the Battle of Mojkovac.
He highlighted that Serbia and Montenegro are also linked by their economies and the shared destiny of the Western Balkans.
"I believe we are jointly invested in peace and stability in what is today called the Western Balkans," Vucevic noted.
He stressed his belief that both Serbia and Montenegro share a common path toward the European Union, adding that he sees this as being in the interest of the Union as well.
Speaking about economic cooperation and strengthening economic ties, Vucevic mentioned that he had discussed infrastructural projects with the Montenegrin Prime Minister that aim to bring the two countries closer together.
