Blockade of Three Bridges in Novi Sad Marks Three Months Since Railway Station Accident

The blockade of the Varadin and Zezelj bridges lasted three hours, while the blockade of the Liberty Bridge continued uninterrupted for 24 hours. The final three hours were used to clean the streets, after which traffic was restored.

In a show of support, students from Belgrade walked to Novi Sad on Thursday, arriving on Friday evening. They were welcomed with fireworks and ovations. The students spent the night at faculties of the University of Novi Sad after spending the previous night outdoors in Indjija.

Groups of students continue blockades of university faculties, demanding the fulfillment of the four requests they originally presented at the start of the protests, while government representatives claim that the students' demands have already been met.
