President of the United States, Donald Trump, appointed Serbian-American John Jovanovic as the President and CEO of the U.S. Export-Import Bank (EXIM).

Lara Li Trump gathered all the leaders and sponsors of the Republican Party in the region at a fundraising dinner in Chicago, which was sponsored by the Serbian-American company Zastava Arms USA.
The event was attended by numerous Serbian businessmen and members of the Serbian-American Political Action Committee.
“There are many businesses in Chicago owned by Serbs, and our business supported this Republican gathering. We have founded the Serbian-American Pact and are already receiving many calls from successful businessmen. Now, a few of us have the opportunity for a private meeting with Lara Trump, where we will present the potential of the Serbian community here and in America in general,” said Ranko Ristic from Zastava Arms USA for Newsmax Balkans.

Lara Trump is the wife of Eric Trump, the middle son of Donald Trump, with whom she has two children. She is known for her strong media appearances and guest appearances. She previously worked as a contributor at Fox News, where she is expected to begin hosting her own show. A versatile personality, she has also dabbled in music and released three singles.
The highlight of the evening was Lara Trump’s speech, where she announced that the second American revolution began on November 5th of last year, the day Donald Trump was re-elected president.
She emphasized that Washington needed "disinfection," which caused laughter among the attendees, and then stated that America should no longer send its money to foreign countries for transgender parties and other nonsense, praising the new Ministry of State Efficiency and highlighting that Trump and Elon Musk had saved American taxpayers 55 billion dollars in a short time.
The fundraising evening ended with an auction of Serbian weapons from the Kragujevac factory’s program and its American partner, Zastava Arms USA.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic stated that 114 people were detained due to attacks on the police during Thursday's protests in several cities across Serbia. He added that 34 criminal charges and 28 misdemeanor charges have been filed. Among those arrested are three foreign nationals.
