Washington has already granted a one-month extension on the introduction of sanctions against NIS, with the deadline set to expire on Friday, March 28, at midnight, i.e., Saturday, March 29, at 6:00 AM due to the time difference.

Minister Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic chaired a session of the Serbian government’s Working Group for Monitoring the Activities of the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), where it was decided to support NIS’s request for another delay in the sanctions.
