Macron Welcomes Vucic at the Elysee Palace

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic arrived at the Elysee Palace in Paris, where he was welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron and an honor guard of the French military.

Following the reception, a working lunch with Macron took place, hosted by the French president in Vucic’s honor.

Ahead of the meeting, Vucic expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with Macron.

The visit was arranged at the end of March, when Vucic and Macron had a phone conversation during which they discussed all aspects of bilateral cooperation and Serbia’s European path.

The French president paid an official visit to Serbia in August 2024, during which he visited both Belgrade and Novi Sad.
