According to unofficial information obtained by Newsmax Balkans, three men aged 45, 37, and 31 reported being attacked by Partizan players – Carlik Jones, Sterling Brown, Isaac Bonga, and Frank Ntilikina (the latter’s involvement in the altercation has not been confirmed) – outside a nightclub near Branko’s Bridge.
According to the accusers, the attack occurred without provocation. The Partizan players, on the other hand, claim they were subjected to racial insults, and that the women accompanying them at the club were called derogatory names.
The Prosecutor’s Office has therefore ordered further legal steps and the collection of medical reports, as one of the individuals involved claims to have suffered serious bodily injuries, specifically a broken finger. The other two sustained minor injuries.
KK Partizan Mozzart Bet also issued a statement confirming that three of its players were involved in the incident near a well-known Belgrade nightclub.
Based on the players’ statements, they were subjected to racial insults by a group of men, while the women in their company were called highly offensive names solely for being in the company of Black men.
The club stated that, after what was believed to be the end of a verbal altercation, the same group of men waited for the players outside the club and physically attacked them. In response to the assault, the players defended themselves.
"As citizens, upon receiving a summons from the relevant authorities, Partizan players will provide official statements. All internal matters will be handled in accordance with the club’s regulations," the club said in a statement.
