Serbian Mathematicians Win Eight Medals at the Olympiad in Singapore

A group of students from Serbia won eight medals at the international StemCo Mathematics Olympiad, held from June 17 to 22 in Singapore. Among them, three medals were gold, three silver, and two bronze.

Serbian Mathematicians Win Eight Medals at the Olympiad in Singapore

Gold medals were awarded to Jelisaveta Srdic and Vasilije Hadzi Puric, who were also the overall winners in their age group. Maksim Sikanic also won a gold medal.

Silver medals went to Dimitrije Jelic, Naum Matic, and Petar Cvetkovic, while bronze medals were won by Milica Stanojevic and Jovana Hadzi Puric.

The team was made up of students from Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Sabac, and was led by Ivana Milosevic, a teacher at the Mathematical Grammar School.

The students came from the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade, the First Belgrade Grammar School, the "Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj" Grammar School in Novi Sad, and the "Nikolaj Velimirovic" Elementary School in Sabac.
