President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, declared that Serbia has prevailed and that he will not sign any pardons.

Dacic specified that 38 members of the Gendarmerie, two members of the brigade, seven police officers from intervention units, and one police officer involved in operational security were injured.

"One police officer sustained serious bodily injuries, including a head injury and a fractured cheekbone, most likely caused by a stone or concrete block thrown at the police," said Dacic.

He added that a large amount of protective equipment was destroyed or damaged—67 helmets, around 50 protectors, 75 shields, three official vehicles, etc.

"From the unregistered public gathering, 77 individuals were brought in, including one minor. 38 individuals were held in custody, criminal charges will be filed against 35 of them, and misdemeanor proceedings will be initiated against 26," said the Minister of Internal Affairs.

According to medical facility reports, 22 civilians sought medical assistance.

"Two of them sustained serious bodily injuries," stated the Interior Minister, adding that one of the seriously injured remains hospitalized, while the other suffered a fractured left wrist and was released for home treatment.

"Mild injuries were reported in 16 cases, while the rest had no injuries," Dacic said.

Vucic: I Will Not Sign Pardons

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic declared that he would not sign any pardons or any form of amnesty for those who, as he put it, were warned 500 times not to engage in violence.

In his public address, Vucic stated that many more arrests would follow in connection to the attacks on police after the student protests and blockades of universities.

"This is not the end—individuals are being identified, and the BIA (Security Information Agency) is working on it," Vucic emphasized.

He claimed that statements from the protesters suggesting that citizens have a “green light” amount to a direct call for civil unrest and attacks on the police.

"I demand that the competent prosecutor’s office do its job and not pretend to be clueless or naive. The time of accountability is coming. I will not sign pardons or any kind of amnesty for those whom we warned 500 times not to take part in violence," Vucic said.
