The Serbian Ambassador for the United States of America, Dragan Sutanovac, presented the letters of credence to the American President Donald Trump, after which he stated that they discussed the relations between Serbia and the USA in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.

He pointed out that the message of the conversation was clear: Let's make the Serbian-American strategic partnership great again.
Sutanovac, who had officially assumed the duties of Serbia's ambassador for the USA, added that he reminded Trump that no American president had visited Serbia since 1980 and at the same time called on him to be the first to change that.
He added that Serbia and the USA are considering cooperation in several directions - energy, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, defence.
