Promotion of the Youngest Officers of the Serbian Armed Forces
The ceremony marking the promotion of the youngest officers of the Serbian Armed Forces was concluded at the General Jovan Miskovic barracks in Banjica with a formal parade, the lowering of the flag, and a flyover by Serbian military aircraft.
A tactical civil-military cooperation course is being held at the "Jug" base near Bujanovac, attended by officers and non-commissioned officers from the Serbian Armed Forces and the United States European Command.
The U.S. Embassy Chargé d'Affaires in Serbia, Alexander Titolo, stated during the presentation of U.S. Army decorations to two members of the Serbian Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces for their achievements in joint service, that awarding to foreign soldiers is a rare distinction.
In his address, President Vucic told the newly commissioned officers of the Serbian Armed Forces that their main task is to preserve peace and protect the country from war.

A total of 186 cadets were promoted to their first officer ranks – 166 from the 145th and 146th classes of the Military Academy and 20 from the 11th class of the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy.
The President awarded ceremonial swords with inscriptions to the top-ranking cadets.
