The embassy stated that it was in contact overnight with hospitals, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, and that it will continue to monitor the situation and remain in communication with institutions in case there is any need for assistance for Serbian citizens.

On Wednesday, a cable car derailed in Lisbon, resulting in 15 fatalities and at least 23 injuries, five of whom are in serious condition.
