Brnabic: Several solutions for NIS already prepared
The President of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, stated that she believes the Russian side will accept one of the proposed solutions regarding NIS during the meeting between Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic and the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom, Aleksandr Dyukov.
"Several solutions have already been prepared. There are a few options that President Aleksandar Vucic will offer to our Russian partners. I hope and expect that they will accept some of these options. All of these options, as the President said, are fair, show full respect toward our Russian partners, but at the same time they protect and preserve our national interests, the standard of living of our citizens, and our economy - which is logical and natural", Brnabic said on TV Pink.
There is a possibility of violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Kosovo, and that must be addressed. The Dayton and Kumanovo agreements have major flaws and need to be changed because they do not work, former US Ambassador to Belgrade William Montgomery said in an interview with Newsmax Balkans.
Serbia welcomed the news of a ceasefire agreement that includes the return of all hostages to Israel, especially the Israeli Serbian captive Alon Ohel, President Aleksandar Vučić said.
She added that she believes Vucic already has prepared responses for any possible reaction from the Russian side regarding the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), as well as plans for how Serbia will proceed based on those responses.
"I hope that as soon as Monday, at least some solution will be found to determine the way forward. But regardless of how difficult the situation is, I know that a final solution will be found that will not endanger our citizens or our economy", said Ana Brnabic.
She also emphasized that she believes there is not a single country in the world that, if it were in Serbia’s position, would not immediately privatize NIS.
