Telekom Srbija Becomes the First Official Sponsor of the Specialized EXPO 2027 Exhibition
Telekom Srbija and EXPO 2027 Belgrade have marked the official beginning of their cooperation as part of the preparations for the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade, with Telekom Srbija becoming the first official sponsor of this international event.
Vladimir Lucic, the CEO of Telekom Srbija, said it was a great honor and pleasure for Telekom to take part in such an important project for Serbia and to be the first sponsor of the international EXPO 2027 event.
"Telekom Srbija is not only a telecommunications company but also a technology company in this region, with a clear vision of operating at an international level - from the USA and Europe to other continents. We are currently active in 13 countries and have 13 million users, with revenues exceeding two billion euros. That is why I believe we will be a worthy partner and will have the capacity to support the EXPO with an exceptionally high-quality 5G network, optical internet network, and Wi-Fi network that will be used by everyone, from organizers and exhibitors to EXPO visitors", Lucic said.
He added that such an event is exceptional for any telecommunications company because it provides the opportunity to generate significant revenue.
The Serbian Parliament has adopted the Budget Law for 2026, and state revenues for next year will amount to 2.4147 trillion dinars, which is 2.9 percent, or 68.5 billion dinars, more than the revenues projected by this year’s original budget.
Telekom Srbija announced that mts 5G signal now covers major cities and roads in the country, and that users of this network can already take advantage of all the benefits brought by 5G technology, primarily higher internet speeds.
Lucic said that the EXPO is a chance for Telekom Srbija to present itself as a company capable of offering products that attract interest from countries worldwide, in three key segments.
"The first is media. We have high-quality production, which we sell in 30 countries, and we have sold our films and series to HBO, Amazon, and Disney Plus. We believe this segment will be interesting to both visitors and exhibitors. The second segment is our startup financing fund. We already support 25 startup companies in their development, and we will be honored to present them. Such promotion is very valuable to them, as it provides connections with important investors to help them better showcase their ideas and projects. And the third segment is our MTS systems, our internal development. As a large company, we invest in our own growth and have several software products that we use internally - our telecommunications systems, which we believe we can easily place on foreign markets", Lucic said.
He emphasized that Telekom Srbija will make every effort to be a high-quality partner.

DOKUMENTARNI PROGRAM-DEKADE-BOMBA U BIOSKOPU
Krajem šezdesetih godina XX veka teorizam postaje realnost u SFRJ.
