Serbia’s Ambassador to Spain, Irena Sarac, stated that no one has contacted the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia so far with information or concerns regarding their relatives.
Based on the currently available data, it is therefore believed that there are no Serbian nationals among those killed or injured in the train collision in Andalusia.
In one of the most serious railway accidents in Spain’s history, at least 40 people were killed and more than 150 injured when two passenger trains collided.

According to the latest information, 39 people are receiving hospital treatment, 13 of whom are in critical condition, while 43 individuals are still listed as missing.
Ambassador Sarac emphasized that, for the time being, there have been no reports indicating that Serbian citizens are among the victims or the injured.
"The encouraging and positive news is that no one has contacted the Embassy, neither family members, nor friends or acquaintances, inquiring about the condition of their loved ones. Based on this, we hope and believe that there are no citizens of the Republic of Serbia among those killed or injured," Sarac said during the program "Otvori oci" ("Open Your Eyes").

MOL and Gazprom Neft have agreed on the key provisions of a future purchase and sale agreement for NIS, which will be submitted to the U.S. administration for decision-making, said Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic.
She added that concerns were particularly high in the first hours following the accident, given that a large number of Serbian citizens regularly use this railway line.
"Approximately 250 of our citizens with registered residence live in Malaga, but according to estimates, the actual number is at least five times higher. That is why there was significant concern initially," the Ambassador noted.
Following the tragedy, Spain declared three days of national mourning, and the atmosphere in the country, according to the Ambassador, is extremely somber.

DOKUMENTARNI PROGRAM-DEKADE-TITO I ČAUŠESKU-PAD KOMUNIZMA
