The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Complex to Be Built on the Site of Hotel Jugoslavija
Marriott International and Danube Riverside d.o.o. Belgrade have signed an agreement to bring the prestigious hotel chain The Ritz-Carlton to Serbia, transforming the former Hotel Jugoslavija site into a modern hotel complex.
The agreement was signed by Ivan Bosnjak, Director of Millennium Team, and Sandeepa Walia, Chief Operating Officer for Luxury Brands EMEA and the Middle East at Marriott International. Present at the signing were Serbia’s Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali and Minister of Tourism and Youth Husein Memic.
According to statements made after the signing, the project is valued at between €400 million and €500 million, with completion expected in 2027. The development will include a luxury hotel with over 190 rooms, a 42-story residential tower, a 34-story office tower, a marina, and a landscaped promenade connecting Nikola Tesla Boulevard to the Sava River.

Policija u Nišu, u saradnji sa Poreskom policijom, po nalogu Osnovnog javnog tužilaštva u Nišu, uhapsili su O. R. (51) iz ovog grada, zbog postojanja osnova sumnje da je izvršila krivična dela poreska utaja, poreska prevara u vezi sa porezom na dodatu vrednost i nedozvoljena trgovina.
