The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will pay an official visit to the People’s Republic of China from May 24th to 28th, according to a statement issued by the President’s Media Cooperation Office.

The statement says that Vucic will visit China at the invitation of the President of China, Xi Jinping.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said that President Vucic’s upcoming visit to China would be an opportunity to strengthen the "ironclad friendship" and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, stated that the plans to establish a Kosovo Gendarmerie were announced as part of Albin Kurti’s election campaign, emphasizing that KFOR remains the only legitimate armed force in Kosovo.
