In an investigation conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the Administration for Organized Crime of the Ministry of the Interior of Republika Srpska, on charges of corrupt criminal offenses, Security Minister Nenad Nesic has been arrested.
The director of JP "Putevi Srpske" Milan Dakic and five other individuals have been arrested as well.
"They are suspected of committing criminal offenses – association for the purpose of committing crimes, money laundering, abuse of office or authority, and accepting bribes, as managers of JP Putevi Srpske and individuals who did business with the mentioned company," states the press release from the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Raids and interrogations are taking place in East Sarajevo, according to Sarajevo media outlets.
Speaking about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that every dialogue is better than displays of power and force, emphasizing that issues should be resolved through discussion and negotiation.
