Prime Minister of Serbia Milos Vucevic stated that the ruling coalition is leaning closer to the decision of forming a new government but did not rule out the possibility of calling elections, adding that a final decision on the matter will be made within ten days.

Vucevic noted that the next step is to schedule a parliamentary session where MPs must acknowledge his resignation, after which a 30-day deadline begins.
"I believe we are closer to forming a new government, but I cannot rule out elections. Both options are on the table," said Milos Vucevic.
He emphasized that his resignation was not intended to trigger elections and that not everyone in the Serbian Progressive Party is pleased with his decision to step down.
