The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, opened the 46th International Tourism Fair and, on this occasion, highlighted that 61 countries have confirmed their participation in Expo 2027 in Belgrade.

"By tonight, we have official confirmation from 61 countries that they will participate in Expo 2027. We hope to break the record. I believe we will exceed 130 countries, so we will fight for it," he emphasized at the Belgrade Fair.
He reminded that the United Nations World Tourism Organization ranked Serbia among the top five out of 100 countries that recorded the highest growth in tourist traffic in 2024.
"We have reached numbers we could not have dreamed of. In just 10 years, we have more than doubled the number of tourist arrivals to our country, from 2 million to 4.4 million. The number of overnight stays has doubled from 6.4 million to 12.6 million," Vucic said.
The International Tourism Fair will last from February 20 to 23, and more than 400 domestic and foreign exhibitors will be presented. The slogan for this largest tourism event in Southeast Europe this year is "One ticket, countless worlds."
