In front of the Belgrade Assembly building, where a session was being held, a physical altercation broke out between citizens and members of private security personnel.
Citizens attempted to break down the metal fence, but security prevented them, leading to a physical confrontation between protest participants and security staff.
Security personnel were sprayed with red paint and subsequently retreated into the building. Earlier, tear gas was also deployed inside the city parliament building, according to a reporter from Newsmax Balkans.

The Belgrade Assembly session concluded with the ruling majority voting on all proposals without debate, while the opposition disrupted the proceedings by singing the national anthem throughout and waving Serbian flags.
