Serbia has declared a Day of Mourning following the tragic fire at a nightclub in Kocani, Northern Macedonia, where at least 59 people lost their lives, and 155 were injured. The Macedonian government has declared a seven-day mourning period.

At government institutions and public buildings in Serbia, the national flags have been lowered to half-mast, and the media and cultural institutions are required to adjust their programming in observance of the Day of Mourning.
Serbian healthcare facilities will treat 29 of the individuals injured in the fire.
