In a post on X, Dodik emphasized that during the discussion, Putin reiterated that Russia is a guarantor of the Dayton Agreement.
"Russia will advocate within this framework for the termination of international institutions, especially the so-called High Representative, whom Putin referred to as illegitimate," Dodik wrote.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic stated that the Republic of Serbia has prevented the arrest warrants for the President of Republika Srpska and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska from becoming enforceable.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued a first-instance verdict against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, sentencing him to one year in prison and a six-year ban on political activity for "disrespecting the decisions" of the High Representative in BiH, Christian Schmidt.
He added that Putin is well informed about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Putin knows the details and the overall situation unfolding in our region. He is interested in issues that ordinary people there are concerned about," he wrote.

On February 26, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced Milorad Dodik to one year in prison and banned him from holding public office for six years due to his refusal to comply with decisions made by High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an order for an international arrest warrant for Milorad Dodik and Nenad Stevandic, who are suspected of the criminal offense of attacking the constitutional order and have failed to respond to summonses for questioning at the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
