Kenyan Gilbert Kipeleting Chumba and Kenyan Debora Sang were the winners of the 38th Comtrade Belgrade Marathon. After 24 years, the female record of the Belgrade Marathon, held by Romanian Kristina Pomacu, was broken.

Sang reached the finish line in 2:26:51, beating the previous record by just under three minutes, which was 2:29:44.
The Kenyan runner won with a time of 2:11:23, which is the second-best result in the history of the marathon in the Serbian capital.
The Comtrade Belgrade Marathon set a new record for the number of participants, with 14,000 runners. Competitors also participated in the 10-kilometer race and the relay half marathon.
