Analyst Emil Zoronjic stated for Newsmax Balkans that tariffs imposed by the United States on the European Union have a significantly greater impact on smaller countries, including Serbia.

"If the U.S. imposes tariffs on the EU, it will have a direct effect on us in Serbia. These are issues we need to be concerned about, and we must approach them rationally, not emotionally. The EU is Serbia’s largest trading partner, with Germany as its leader," Zoronjic concluded.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, commented for Newsmax on the 90-day postponement of U.S. tariffs, stating that he is very pleased to see this kind of reset and the pause announced by President Trump.
The Chinese Ambassador to Belgrade, Li Ming, stated that he does not expect U.S. tariffs to affect the operations of the two major Chinese companies in Serbia – Zijin and HBIS – nor that the trade war the U.S. is waging against China will in any way impact the cooperation between China and Serbia.
It is worth noting that U.S.–China tariff negotiations resumed on Sunday in Geneva.
"Time is being spent to secure slightly better terms. I wouldn’t say a final agreement is near," Zoronjic assessed, adding that U.S. President Donald Trump announced a total reset of relations.
