President of the Largest Ruling Party: I Expect Parliamentary Elections at the End of 2026

Commenting on the local elections that will take place in Zajecar and Kosjeric, Vucevic emphasized that they will be difficult for SNS because, as he said, this is the first time such elections are being held in this kind of atmosphere.

"As challenging as these elections are, I believe we will achieve a good result, but we still have two more weeks of a tough campaign, a very tough campaign, and I hope that people in Zajecar and Kosjeric won't take anything for granted, but will understand that the election outcome depends on them and that they will come out in large numbers to vote for their local governments on June 8. I believe that after that, we will prepare for the next elections, which I expect will take place in the fall in some local municipalities, and then parliamentary elections will follow," Vucevic said.

According to him, the parliamentary elections can be expected at the end of 2026.

"Because we need to work, we need to repair the damage that was done to us, we need to recover as a society, we need the children to return to schools and normal education, students to resume their studies, we need to fix the economy, and wages and pensions need to increase," Vucevic explained.
