According to EXPO 2027 officials, this number is a testament to the great international interest in the pavilion, as well as the quality and appeal of the program.
The national pavilion in Osaka highlights innovation, creativity, and the potential of our country, while sending a strong message about a modern Serbia that is dynamically developing and building new connections across the globe, the statement says.
“The great success of the Serbian pavilion in Osaka is not just in the numbers – 800,000 visitors means 800,000 new opportunities for Serbia's voice to be heard. This result makes us proud, but it also obliges us to go a step further at the Specialized EXPO 2027 in Belgrade in terms of programming, organization, and hospitality,” said Danilo Jerinic, director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade.
He emphasized, “Our goal is for EXPO 2027 to be a place where the whole world comes together, but also a chance to showcase Serbia as a country with tourism and business potential, a country that follows the latest technological achievements while also preserving its traditions and cultural identity.”
Serbia continues to strengthen its international image through the EXPO platform, and the results in Osaka are the best preview of what to expect in 2027 when Serbia will again host the world, the statement concludes.
