In addition, many members of non-majority communities, including Serbs, still face difficulties in obtaining personal documents and valid residence permits, which may hinder them from registering vehicles and obtaining license plates, UNMIK said in a statement posted on Facebook.
According to UNMIK, actions on these issues, carried out without consultations or prior notification of the affected communities, negatively impact their daily lives and socio-economic rights, hinder their integration, and limit access to healthcare and other basic services.
UNMIK reiterated its call for all outstanding issues to be resolved constructively through EU-mediated dialogue.
