The U.S. Department of the Treasury has issued a new special license that postpones the full enforcement of sanctions against the company NIS, allowing the company to continue its operational activities without interruption until no later than October 8th , 2025, NIS announced.

The license was issued on September 30th, according to NIS.
The company also reminded that it has submitted an amendment to its request for removal from the SDN (Specially Designated Nationals) list.
The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) submitted a new request to the U.S. Department of the Treasury on September 28th for the issuance of a special license that would delay the full implementation of sanctions and allow the company to continue its operational activities without interruption.
