Vucic and Netanyahu Discuss Free Trade Agreement Between Serbia and Israel

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met in New York with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with whom he discussed, among other topics, a potential free trade agreement between Serbia and Israel.

Vucic and Netanyahu Discuss Free Trade Agreement Between Serbia and Israel

Vucic posted on his Instagram account that he had a good and productive conversation in the U.S. with Netanyahu.

“What is especially important is that we opened the topic of negotiating a free trade agreement between Serbia and Israel, which would be a significant step forward in developing our future relations,” the Serbian president emphasized.

He also stated that he had talks in New York with several European and regional leaders, and stressed that Serbia is respected and recognized everywhere.

Vucic added that he spoke with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar, and Croatian President Zoran Milanovic.
