NIS emphasizes that, as before, its priorities remain the regular supply of the domestic market with petroleum products and the preservation of the social stability of its employees.
According to the statement, NIS has secured sufficient oil reserves for processing at this time, while its gas stations are fully supplied with all types of petroleum products.
"Since the company was listed on the SDN (Specially Designated Nationals) list in January, NIS has been closely monitoring the situation and striving to adapt its operations to the new circumstances", the company stated.
In the event that foreign payment cards (Mastercard, Visa) cease to function, payments at gas stations will still be possible using the domestic Dina card, cash, or the IPS Show method.
The use of and payment with "With Us on the Road", Agro, and Taxi cards will continue without interruption.
"As for wholesale operations, payments in dinars are also proceeding smoothly, and NIS remains a reliable partner, fully prepared to fulfill all contractual obligations toward its business partners, including corporate clients and major customers. Corporate clients’ payment cards are functioning without disruption", NIS stated, adding that, in cooperation with its partners, the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and shareholders, the company is working to overcome this situation.
NIS continues to cooperate with the U.S. Department of the Treasury regarding its request for removal from the SDN list, initially submitted on March 14 and supplemented on September 28 of this year.
"Delisting is a lengthy and complex process. The company continues to carefully monitor the current situation and will promptly inform the public of any new developments that could affect NIS’s operations", the statement concluded.
