"What citizens also need to know is that we have done everything our Russian partners asked of us. We agreed that they could speak with whomever they wished in order to sell their share, and we approved it - this was a state decision. Everything they asked of us, we did. However, we should not forget that these sanctions were imposed by the United States, that it was the Americans who introduced them, and that we are a small country that only wants to pursue its neutral policy," Djedovic Handanovic emphasized.
She stated that the state will, if necessary, make certain difficult decisions in order to protect Serbia’s energy security and safety, because, as she stressed, citizens must not suffer due to disagreements between major powers.
The minister urged citizens to continue to trust their state, as they have done so far.
