Government Session on Issues of Strategic Importance for Serbia to Be Held on Sunday, Vucic and Brnabic to Attend
A thematic session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, at which key issues of strategic importance for Serbia will be discussed, will be held on Sunday, January 25th.
Prime Minister Djuro Macut has also invited the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabic, to attend the session.
During the session, key issues of strategic importance for the Republic of Serbia will be considered, with a particular focus on the overall political and economic situation in the country and globally, as well as on the implementation of development and infrastructure projects of national importance, including the Expo project, the Government of Serbia announced.
A delegation of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), which is on a visit to Serbia, met at the National Assembly of Serbia with the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Chair of the Committee on European Integration, Elvira Kovac.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that he held a very productive discussion with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos on current issues in relations between Serbia and the European Union, with a particular focus on reform commitments and energy security.
