The President of Serbia noted that he had dinner with the President of Kazakhstan.

"It is a great honor for me and for Serbia that the Prime Minister welcomes you at the airport, that Sukhoi fighter jets escort you through Kazakh airspace. I expect that tomorrow, together with President Tokayev, we will sign ten agreements, which will lay the foundations on which we will build a great house of friendship in the interest of both countries", Vucic emphasized.

He added that Kazakhstan is successful in everything it does.

"On Friday, we expect both tête-à-tête meetings and meetings between our delegations. I will have the great honor of receiving the Golden Eagle - the highest decoration of Kazakhstan", the Serbian President noted.

"They Are Interested in Investing in Belgrade and Serbia"

He emphasized that the Kazakh side wishes to build a Kazakh cultural center in Belgrade.

"They are interested in investing in Belgrade and Serbia", Vucic stated.

The President of Serbia said that Tokayev is one of the most serious and responsible presidents.

"We discussed the geopolitical situation. I expect a major conflict to begin soon, and I also expect the war in Ukraine to continue. This will be one of the most difficult years in the world", he said.

He pointed out that Kazakhstan is dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence and robotics, and that Serbia is striving to keep pace.

"We are pushing hard, and I believe we will succeed through the construction of the necessary infrastructure - from data centers and supercomputers - but you must ensure sufficient electricity supply. They do not have that problem, because in addition to minerals and rare raw materials, they also have, which is crucial for electricity production, sufficient quantities of gas. By discovering new gas fields, they have gas-fired power plants and numerous renewable energy sources, which provides them with an exceptional foundation, above all for developing such infrastructure for artificial intelligence", Vucic stated.

He added that there is much the two countries can do together and recalled that the countries of Central Asia were once the center of the world and are now returning to that position.

"These are countries which, along with China and India, are growing the fastest in the world. You can see the progress here as well - people work hard and strive. You can see their desire to be accepted and recognized, to be highly successful in the world, and they are succeeding", Vucic said.

He added that it is important to maintain good ties with Israel.

"We procure many important things from them", the President of Serbia pointed out.

President Aleksandar Vucic arrived in Kazakhstan for an official two-day visit, and the aircraft carrying him was escorted in the country’s airspace by Sukhoi-3 fighter jets as a gesture of welcome.
