Uros Blazic was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the crime of aggravated murder, 10 years for weapons possession, 10 years for kidnapping, and three years for unauthorized use of someone else's vehicle. A unified sentence of 20 years was imposed, the maximum possible sentence, as he was under 21 at the time of the crime.

His father, Radisa Blazic, was sentenced to a unified prison term of 20 years, with 12 years for the crime of unauthorized production, possession, carrying, and trafficking of weapons and explosives, and 10 years for the crime of a serious offense against public safety.

This is a first-instance verdict, and both the prosecution and the defense have the right to appeal.

The time spent in detention has been included in their prison sentences, which will be extended until they are sent to serve their sentences.
