In the Republic of Serbia, from November 1st , 2024 to November 30th , 2025, a total of 27,327 public gatherings were held without prior notification. A large number of police officers are deployed at these gatherings - measured in several hundreds of thousands. During this period, 2,982 individuals were processed: 579 for criminal offenses and 2,403 for misdemeanors. A total of 962 reports were submitted to competent prosecutor’s offices for 885 individuals. In total, 1,398 individuals were brought in, and detention measures were applied to 569 of them,” Vasiljevic said.
The clearance rate for crimes committed by unknown perpetrators increased from 60.5 percent to 61.6 percent, while overall crime decreased by 5.4 percent.
The number of crimes against life and limb decreased by 211 cases, and all aggravated murders were solved.
The number of property-related crimes decreased by four percent, and public order has been maintained despite a significantly higher number of unreported public gatherings.
A stable security situation has been maintained at the state border, and the situation with irregular migrants is stable.
In the area of traffic safety, the number of fatalities decreased by 4.4 percent, and the number of injured persons dropped by 2.7 percent.
Administrative affairs continue to be carried out consistently, in accordance with citizens’ needs, the report concludes.
