Production of petroleum products begins at the Refinery: Euro Diesel at fuel dtations from January 27th
The production of petroleum products has begun at the Pancevo Refinery, and the first batches of Euro diesel will be available at fuel stations starting January 27th , announced the Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic.
"After nearly two months of downtime, production of petroleum products resumed today at the Pancevo Refinery! Almost 2,000 employees are working intensively on production, and Euro diesel will be available at fuel stations from January 27th", Djedovic Handanovic wrote on Instagram.
She added that she is proud that the promise made to citizens has been fulfilled.
"I am proud of my colleagues in the Government of Serbia that, through diplomatic efforts led by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, we managed to fulfill the promise made to citizens that they would not feel any consequences of the sanctions imposed on the company NIS", Minister Djedovic Handanovic said.
A memorial service marking eight years since the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, leader of the Civic Initiative Serbia, Democracy and Justice, was held at the Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade.
The transport of crude oil for the Pancevo Refinery began on Tuesday of this week via JANAF.
The company NIS announced on January 9th that it had arranged the import of the first quantities of crude oil via JANAF for the needs of the Pancevo Refinery.
