Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on Monday congratulated Péter Magyar, leader of the Tisza party, on his victory in Hungary’s parliamentary elections, expressing confidence that good cooperation between Serbia and Hungary will continue.
"Congratulations to Péter Magyar on the election victory. I believe in the continuation of good cooperation between Hungary and Serbia, and I am grateful to Viktor Orbán for making such relations possible," Vučić wrote on social media platform X.

According to preliminary results from Hungary’s National Election Commission, based on 97.35 percent of the ballots counted, the opposition Tisza party won 138 of the 199 seats in parliament, while Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz party secured 55 seats.
