"We are conducting our investigation, of course. I believe we have some knowledge of who the perpetrator might be, but we will not disclose this information to the public just yet. We are open and willing to discuss what happened in the village of Varage with everyone, including EULEX and KFOR," Vucic stated at a press conference.
He emphasized that, under EULEX supervision, it is entirely illegal for the Kosovo police to enter Serbian homes in Zubin Potok.
The Serbian President added that stopping Serbia's European integration path, potentially leading to its economic weakening, is a "pragmatic and important reason" for the accusations coming from Pristina.
Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti also held a press conference, stating that he is unaware of the progress of the investigation into the explosion at the Ibar-Lepenac canal because it was the weekend.
The U.S. State Department condemned the attack on the canal, demanding that those responsible be identified and punished.
To recap, an explosion occurred in the village of Varage near Zubin Potok on Friday, damaging the Ibar-Lepenac canal and disrupting the water supply. Pristina characterized the attack as "terrorist" and accused Belgrade of being behind it.
