The Supreme Court in Pristina issued a ruling rejecting Self-Determination’s appeal against the decision of the Electoral Panel for Complaints and Appeals regarding the certification of the Serbian List’s candidacy for parliamentary elections.
Antigona Lutfiu-Uka, the spokesperson for the court, confirmed the decision, which requires the Central Election Commission (CEC) to certify the Serbian List’s candidacy.
Previously, the CEC had refused to certify the Serbian List’s candidacy based on objections from members affiliated with Self-Determination. The Serbian List then filed an appeal.
Serbian Patriarch Porfirije has sent a letter to Pope Leo XIV, Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as other important European and global leaders, calling on them to prevent the implementation of the so-called law on foreigners imposed by Pristina.
