First Session of the New Serbian Government

Previously, Prime Minister Djuro Macut took over the position from the former Prime Minister Milos Vucevic.

On Wednesday, the National Assembly of Serbia elected the new government, which will consist of 31 members.

Prime Minister Djuro Macut and the ministers in his cabinet then took the oath of office in the presence of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, in front of the members of the National Assembly, officially marking the beginning of the new government's mandate.

On Tuesday, Macut presented the program and composition of his cabinet to the National Assembly of Serbia. Compared to the government led by Vucevic, his will have one-third new ministers.
