The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will host the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, at the Palace of Serbia during his official visit to Serbia on May 12 and 13, according to a statement from the Presidency.

The official welcoming ceremony with military honors in front of the Palace of Serbia will take place on Wednesday at 8 a.m, followed by a one-on-one meeting between President Vucic and Costa, plenary talks between the delegations of the Republic of Serbia and the European Union led by Vucic and Costa, and then statements to the media by Vucic and Costa.
Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret, stated at a reception marking Europe Day that he expects the EU to complete its enlargement and for Serbia to take its rightful place within the European family.
