In Serbia, there are over a million users of the electronic toll collection system. Around 150,000 users use the same tag to travel through Serbia, Montenegro, and Croatia. A connection with the Republic of Srpska is expected soon.

Darko Savic, Executive Director of the Toll Collection Sector at JP Putevi Srbije, told Newsmax Balkans that there is a problem with seven or eight concessionaires managing roads in Greece.

“In order to connect via the web service developed in Serbia, which has enabled integration with several countries, all of them must give their consent. Unfortunately, we still have to wait for them to complete changes in their systems before we can connect,” Savić noted.

He added that switching from postpaid or prepaid systems and registering on the web service is very simple.

“Detailed information is available on the Putevi Srbije website and at over 2,000 sales points via authorized distributors. The biggest distributors are Telekom Srbija, The Post of Serbia, and the Auto-Moto Association of Serbia. You can easily reconfigure your existing tag or buy a new one at these distributors,” he pointed out.
