A single decision will determine whether we remain energy-stable or find ourselves on the brink of an energy crisis.
When it comes to Serbia’s petroleum reserves, our mandatory stocks include 19,145 tons of gasoline, which is enough for only five days of normal consumption. We have more diesel - 188,000 tons - sufficient for one month of consumption in industry, transport, and public services.
Regarding kerosene, used for air transport, we have 20,000 tons in reserve - enough for 40 days.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated that we have sufficient military diesel reserves - 25,000 tons.
The key site and the heart of our country’s economy in this situation is the Pancevo Refinery, and it faces a scenario that must not be allowed to unfold.
We currently have around 89,000 tons of crude oil stored at the Pancevo Refinery. According to financial expert Vladimir Pavlovic, who appeared on our television network, the refinery requires 10,000 tons per day, while domestic production cannot meet even 20 to 25 percent of its needs.
With the supplies we currently have, the Pancevo Refinery can operate for only seven more days.
If the Pancevo Refinery stops, every tank, every fuel station, and every engine in the country will immediately feel the consequences – and it will then become clear just how crucial that refinery is to our nation.
