Montenegro will submit a request to Serbia for the extradition of the suspect for the double murder in Bijelo Polje, Alija Balijagic, announced Minister of Justice Bojan Bozovic at a press conference.

"We do not want to speculate; we will provide certain guarantees and ask Serbia to hand him over if the crimes in question are of lesser significance, so that we can conduct proceedings before our authorities," said Bozovic.
He expressed belief that there would be no obstacles regarding this matter.
As a reminder, Balijagic was arrested in the village of Pribojska Golesa, and according to the Minister of Police Ivica Dacic, he was caught while sleeping and did not resist.
