The President of the Serbian Parliament, Ana Brnabic, stated that her meeting with the European Parliament’s rapporteur, Tonino Picula, was good and open, and that she told him that the draft resolution he prepared was "shameful and full of disinformation."
Brnabic told journalists that she did not know who was boycotting Picula, as all parliamentary groups had met with him, but Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Milos Vucevic had not.
She added that the president does not need to meet with anyone from the European Parliament, as it is the Serbian Parliament's responsibility, further noting that she did not know what the meeting’s agenda would be after everything Picula had said about Serbia.
"Was I the happiest to have a meeting with Tonino Picula? No," said Brnabic.
