Speaking about whether Europe is still something we should strive for, she emphasized that Serbia has no other alternative.
"There is no real alternative, even though we maintain good relations with Russia. We are holding onto something that this government inherited from the previous one. The time has come when we can no longer remain undecided. A decision must be made in society about who we belong to, and I believe we belong to Europe," Minic concluded.
Commenting on the fact that public trust in the idea of joining the EU has significantly decreased, she said it is because Europe faces numerous challenges.
"The European Union is constantly facing challenges and must fight. The question arises, why do we strive so much towards Europe when there are other options, and the world is reorganizing. Now, a multipolar world is being created," Minic explained.
She also noted that foreign policy is something that divides people.
"Around 40-45% support the idea of joining the EU, which is not insignificant. A decision must be made in society about who we belong to, and I believe we belong to Europe," the interlocutor stated.
